– Led the Blue Demons to a pair of wins over ranked opponents in his first year back with DePaul in 2015-16 – including the team’s highest-ranked win since Dec. 2006 with a victory over No. 11 Providence in February, and a 21-point win over No. 20 George Washington in December that represented the largest margin of victory in program history by an unranked DePaul team over a ranked opponent
– In his first stint with the Blue Demons from 2002-05 (58-34 record), he turned a nine-win team into a 16-win squad in year one and a 22-win team in his second season
– DePaul’s 16 wins in 2002-03 are the second-highest total for a coach in his first season with the Blue Demons, trailing only Ray and Joey Meyer who each won 19 in their rookie seasons
– DePaul returned to the NCAA Tournament for the first time in four years under his leadership in 2003-04, earning the program’s highest seed since 1992 (No. 7), and won their first NCAA Tournament game since 1989
